I've been reading a number of posts which discuss the appropriate manner of dress for San Jose.

While I am uncomfortable with the situation, due to an allergy, I am forced to wear only white cotton socks. Is this going to "mark me" as a redneck gringo with no fashion sense ?

Jose

Years ago I used to have a skin problem with my feet. I always wore white socks under my black socks.

It might take some work but you should be able to find black cotton socks. Of course if the problem is the dye that's another story.

As to your question, yes, it will look a little 'strange'. But compared to some of the characters you'll encounter it won't effect your ability to find companionship.

No problem unless your the guy riding his custom made shiney red Scooter from the Scooter Store. Who ever you are, was it really necessary to beep your horn while backing down the hallway by the side door?

I wore jeans, tennis shoes, and sleeve-less t-shirt. Comfortable, and guess what? The girls never refused my money!

Dress-up or dress-down whatever you want.

I was Green with jealousy over all those spinners you had!

Planning a trip to PI, but don't have a date yet.

Thinking of a return to CR.

YO fashion freaks:
Lord knows.........no one dresses worse that old Circus. I would have been at the turkey dinner but mi amigo, LVSteve , told me I would be an embarassment to the event and would just stink up the place. He's right. Only Dino comes close but at least he washes his clothes and smells pretty. Guess it's the result of my going to the City rescue mission here every other day and spending time with my compadres. I just hate standing in line for chow............You fellows at the SJ Turkey feast think about us misfits when you chow down on that good food. I'll be thinking about you........once I sober up.
