Hmmm...This is the first time I've seen this thread. So I'm a day(s) late and several dollars short.
But this guy staying at the Hotel Diana Inn where I stayed told me Rod Stewart was coming down to visit a place he was renting in the (I think) Paquera area. The guy told me he knew Rod from being in the music business for many years. I just kind of thought to myself "whatever".
The next day a friend of his who referes to himself as a "real estate detective" came by to pick this friend of Rods up. They discussed Rod's visit at some length and left for the day to look at some properties. The guy left the next day and I never saw him again. Like I said I never bought the story. I have met many down here who tell exagerted tales about their lives.
But given the time frame of my visit and when Rod was spotted in Costa Rica; they may not have been BSsing me at all.
