Why are you posting on CRT asking for help with your computer?

Try http://support.microsoft.com

Because MS won't support it if it is a virus or malware. Even on their enterprise applications that have been infected they won't touch it and refer you to your virus protection vendor.

I have asked high level IT questions in unrelated forums before and I have gotten my answers because I know some of the members have jobs in the same field as me.

Spanky, yup, I figured I'd get real help here rather than on some MS site. :D

I just spent 3 hours trying to get a reason why I can not download photos to a disk on a HP, so my first thought was that he wanted a answer , right or wrong in ENGLISH. A understandable answer and spoken.

I would strongly consider a Mac BUT I am trying to learn Spanish with Rosetta Stone Version 2. and that does not work with MAC. The version 3 does work with Mac, but that version has far more emphasis on typing and spelling then version 2, and my ability to spell or type in English is a adventure in futility. And since learning Spanish right now is on top of my list the computer can wait. Right now I been doing some looking into building a computer as I have been advised by several computer people, both friends and the tech support at work.. I am trying the Spybot program as suggested by some one else as I type this, so thank you for that suggestion.

I love you Mac people. Drink that Jobs flavored Kool-Aid. :D

Oh, before you call me a PC nazi, I'm typing this on a Macbook Pro. I'm OS agnostic at this point. Hell, I don't even mind Vista. All OS's have their little quirks about them that piss you off and Mac isn't different. Mac's are coming under attack more as they pickup market share so do make sure you load some virus protection. Kinda like bare backing a chica, ain't safe so put on some protection.

The thing about macs that piss me off is the single menu bar at the top. I like big monitors (30") and usually have two of them. If you're working on another screen you have to move all the way to the top on the other monitor to hit the menu...

Apple has to relax that, it's no longer practical.
