I always pick up a few Kilos of Café Moca at the central market. I like the whole bean and grind a week or so worth at a time. I love that stuff. Volio and Britt are also real good.

Coffee from the Tarrazu region is the best regardless of label. Britt is good but way over priced. They are exceptionally good at marketing their product lines.

We buy our coffee at the Guadalupe ferria. I cannot remember the name of the vendor but she wears a little cow girl outfit and sells both molido and whole bean. It is expensive because it is from Tarrazu but it is less than Britt.

I agree with you Zebra, the Leyenda brand is very good. They also have flavoured coffees which can be offered during Christmas and other holidays. The coffee which is provided in the waiting room at Agencia Datsun is Leyenda.

Reading the labels is very insightful. A lot of the less expensive coffees are roasted at Dorado, particularly those offered at Pricesmart. Café Rey has some upgraded brands which are a little more expensive.
