So you go to a Portuguese class of 5 or 6 and one girl from Panama is unbearably cute. She always looks at your reaction first when something funny is said in class, and generally gives out a positive vibe. After class she makes it a point to say "Nice to meet you," and her smile and eyes melt you. You hang back in the hallway so she catches up by the elevator. You ask if she'd like to get a cafe and she acts flattered and says she's late for her nail appointment. (It's a Saturday.)

Then you say, "Can I get your cell number?" She wants to give it but has a boyfriend. "I'm sorry," she says with mild discomfort. Assuming you will not be returning to that particular class because the level is too advanced,

WHAT DO YOU DO?

A.) Make small talk and never see her again

B.) Make small talk and trip on your shoelaces

C.) Drop off a CD of romantic tunes (Eliane Elias' latest, Dreamer) at the front desk with your best picture and a note saying you know she has a boyfriend, but funny things happen in life. Put your e-mail on the note

D.) Shoot your sorry ass

That's player 101 stuff right there. Tell her she is hot or whatever and you want to get to know her better. Keep her on the backburner and just just be entertaining. It will take a while but she might break down. Dont matter though because you are doing the same thing to about 50 other girls. Immportant thing is to be upfront about just having a good time and you dont see a relationship in the future. 2 out of 10 will buy you bs. That's the way to go if yo just want to bone her. Keep in mind that being a player is a full time job.

I´m with Kotigre...these things take time and in my opinion continual low key friendliness. My experience has been that like Latinos...Latinas WILL play every once in a while. You just have to catch her on a bad day in her relationships...like when she knows or suspects her novio is cheating...or out partying without her all the time. When she feels neglected...a little TLC will get you in the game.

I just dont know how you have time for this pursuit though Jazz...with all your jaunts to Brazil and CR between gigs
