My new ex is no Einstein:

I called her last Sunday and got her voicemail. She sent me a text saying she couldn't call back because she was visiting family in the mountains and didn't have cell service.

We hooked up for a very nice time on Tuesday.

Then on Wednesday I called and left a message. N*na said she was at the pulperia and would be right back. She never called.

I called her cell today. She answered and the first thing out of her mouth was "I'm sorry." She said she couldn't call because her "luz was sospendido."

I don't care what she does or who she does so am amazed that she bothers to tell such "estupido mentidos." It's incredible, if they can think it, they can believe it, no matter how illogical. And, once they tell the lie, there's is no backing down!

Anyone else have any Tica/Einstein Moments?

No, I do not put up with that because I do not care to get so involved with a chica. In your case, I will said that you were having a ‘Tico/gringo” moment. She may not very smart but who is leading who? There are a thousand ticas likes her. She does it because she knows she can get away with it. Lieing is just part of the game. We do it to them and they do it to us. Nothing wrong with having a novia but the game will remain the same.

Yes, they do lie, and we do too, always in some manner or another, but at least with non-pro's it is better in the long run I think to try to be sincere, and try to limit lies to the protective white lies form, if you want to keep the relationship alive and healthy in some form over time. That is how I prefer to go about things, but to each his own, I suppose, if it makes you happy and doesn't hurt anyone else. If they are playing the same games I understand that but it seems to me also that if you are the more honest one in a relationship then that will give you the upper hand if nothing else when she is acting up.

Heck, even with pro's if I am chatting with her at any time, before or after the deed, I prefer to tell her something real about myself as opposed to making something up. For me if nothing else it makes the connection I am making with this person a little more real, however limited that ultimately is.

I'm not saying it matter ultimately matters with a working girl what you say, I just do what I like to do, that's all. I know strategic lies like I visit often and will return (even if you don't and won't) can work to good advantage, and I will use those ones if they apply...otherwise I figure I'm getting laid anyway so why bother lying?
