not so good for us with Colones

El Banco de Costa Rica aumentó el precio de venta del dólar de ¢508,50, el jueves, a ¢513, ayer, según los datos publicados a las 7:30 p. m. Entre los bancos, el tipo de cambio de venta osciló ayer entre ¢510 y ¢513.

Yeah, I noticed. I was in ScotiaBank today and was quite surprised to see it above 500, i'm wondering if it's a short lived "sale" ;)

down in april and noticed it moving back the other direction finally. not much but at least it broke the free fall. :roll:

Why worry about that shit. I've seen a a crazy swing of the dollar and colone in CR for longer than most of you breathed life. It is what it is.

I just pulled out a 1901 five colone gold coin from my collection that is equivalent to our U.S. 5$ gold coin. Can we say inflation?

Just go with the flow and invest wisely.

Today I got some cash, and I received $507 colones /dollar. I think the dollar is gaining against the colon.
