I know several hotels have good wi-fi access in the rooms, etc.. I used it at SL daily last trip.
But what are some other wifi access points in downtown San Jose -- restaurants, bars, McDonalds, etc.
This may have been addressed on CRT before, but I didn't see anything about it.
Maybe we can make a list.

Mcdonalds did not have it when i was there in december, but Zona Blue does have free wifi and they don't mind you using it even when you visit. works quite well in the bar area.

It's so the guys can show the chicas the photo gallery and translate what has been written about them. :P

Orange has a point given the repeated posts that some members find it appropriate to show the girls their reviews/photos in what I can only assume is an attempt to curry favor with the working girls.

I think someone once pointed out that IT IS ALL ABOUT $$.

I have never taken a laptop to CR, but if I do on my next trip, rest assured I won't be taking it to an MP. Or showing this website to anyone. But JDT (who has never posted but is a VIP member) tells me he loves looking at the photos as he languishes in the midwest and awaits his wedding and baseball season.

Taking a laptop anywhere outside of your hotel in San Jose is a bad idea.

Well, this thread seems to have strayed into yet another argument about showing chicas their CRT pictures.
Actually, I was asking about wi-fi hotspots because I have a little pocket-sized e-mail and skype phone device that works on wi-fi. Thought it might be handy to check e-mail or make a call when I'm not at my hotel.
If anyone actually knows of some wi-fi hotspots outside of the hotels and MPs, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

But I do agree there's no future in showing the ladies their reviews and pics. Many of them know all about CRT already, but if they want to read it, let 'em buy their own memberships.

There aren't many (none?) other than hotels. It's not like the Starbucks in the US.

The SJO airport has free WiFi. This helps when your plane is delayed and you are stuck there for 5 hours like I was last week.

There are a few electrical outlets in the gate area along the wall opposite the doors that lead to the planes.
