Hmmm... 5 poll responses on an IMPORTANT ISSUE... yet 10K on Ball Shaving you wonder why I stopped the Post of the month contest nobody responds...

I've been following the site for the better part of 24 hours since the software upgrade... NOT using any CRT computers but non related and I see NO PROBLEMS whatsover what the speed or the server load, no down time etc.

If somoene has specific problems, I would like to know are you in CR or on Dial up these two issues preclude you from VOTING... If not please describe the problems as I have gone crazy resolving this issue and it appears resolved but nobody has taken the time to respond.

Thank you.

IMO, the site seems to be running the same or better than in the past. I've never had any 'real' problems with the site, with an occasional "burp" once in a while. Overall, everything seems to be running very smooth. BTW, I'm running Firefox.

Thanks Admin1 for staying on top of things. Now I gotta run and bump the ball shaving thread!

I was just test-driving for a day or two before I voted  but so far it's MUCH better with no more slow-downs for me. :D

Although I never experienced any of the intermittent issues detailed on this thread, I have noticed a clear upgrade in speed when posting, and it seems when i usually copy my long posts before posting and have to repaste them, that issue is mostly gone. We're cruising....

This past week or so I've noticed the forum occasionally disappears and I get the "IE cannot display the webpage" but it only lasts about 60+ seconds, then it's back.
