yah i know, ID. i dont have residency yet either, although i do have plenty of corporations. and still, i opt for getting a line in a tico's name. takes barely any time at all.

We all have to make the choice that works best for us. I see difficulties in putting it any persons name rather than my own. Fortunately being a resident made my decision very simple the phone is in my name.

For those that do not know, you do not have to be a reident to own a SA corp here. Once you have the corp you can get a bank account and a phone.

Cell phone and receipt for purchase of phone (If you are going to use an older phone from the US, then borrow someone's phone and receipt to go get the chip from ICE.


I am wondering if this will really work... Won't ICE disable the chip for the borrowed phone?
