I need some ear plugs for the ride home does anybody know where to purchase them in San jose I have looked but no look so far

Try a gun store, there are several in SJ downtown. They usually have a variety of different types.

The Chinese pharmacy on Central Avenida...beside the Balmoral Hotel. I saw them in the display window.
