I divorced 25 years ago, never even considered getting remarried. Why ruin a good thing? :?

I have been divorced for 5 years. My ex was as much of a workaholic as me. We prefered to be at the office and not with each other. In the last few months of the marriage we went without seeing each other for days.
She found a boyfriend and we did the paperwork and ended it. I got two of our 5 homes. I gave her the other three and we each agreed not to touch each others businesses (we were both entrepreneurs). Divorce is a tough thing, if you have K*ds. And if you are wealthy and successful, she will try to clean you out, unless she is as wealthy or wealthier than you(my case). The key thing for any guy out there, do not get married and do not have K*ds. Nothing positive for you comes from either thing. And especially if you have money. Prenup or no, she will cause costly problems.

Why would anybody sacrifice so much money and risk for a woman that will be primarily occupied with squeezing every dime anmd ounce of dignity out of you? That is marriage, after all.

Marriage is prabably one of those things that every young and foolish person should try at least once, do it while still young, with little to lose, learn their lesson and move on. But I have no sympathy for the person who does it again and again. So many men have this idea that "I just can't be alone." :? I could never understand it. :? I wouldn't have it any other way...but then that's just me.

Got a divorce about 7 years ago and never looked back. I was married to a gringa that was a freak in bed but too much of a psych job outta it.
Didn't lose too much because we never had anything thanks to her outta control spending habits.
I think the worst thing about divorce is the after effects...friends and family feeling sorry for you and wanting to set you up with someone so you won't be alone.
No thanks...I enjoy being single and traveling and living an alternative lifestyle that they could never relate to.
