I know that this is primarily a site for prostitution. But has anyone ever used the dating service spanisheyes costa rica to see if there are any good women looking for a relationship? It seems to me it wouldn't hurt to go on a few real dates in between mongering sessions.
I have done the russian dating thing for a few years. At first, guys at least found interested women, if not ones that worked out once they got to the US. But now, it seems that guys are going back again and again with less results. Guys spend over $100 a day on meeting fees and interpreters. And some guys ruin their life with bringing the wrong one over and then have no money to start again.
So, I am seeing what else is out there. Not ready yet to take the plunge into switching to mongering, but keeping my options open.

If you have tried for "years" in Russia then... You really don't need a service in CR. It is easy to meet people if you are here for some time. Just getting a girl to the US is not the solution. That's like thinking that taking a fish out of water is a solution. Besides a location change, what do you have to offer a girl? This has been covered here many times with some very good thoughts. You may want to search the past threads.

Spanish Eyes has been written about here from time to time. Most of the comments, as I remember, were identifying various Del Rey girls who were also on Spanish Eyes. That does not mean that all or even most are working girls as I am sure there are some girls there who are non prostitutes looking for a husband.

I do do not know anyone whoever used their service. I would think they are legitimate as they have been around for years. There was an article about them in the Tico Times some months ago and as I recall they were expensive. I also remember someone posting here that he had purchased a life time membership a few years ago and after using it for awhile he stopped. When he called them up to use it again on his next trip to CR they gave him kind of a run around. He was going to follow up with them but not sure if he posted the results. You might try using the search function and see if there is any other info here.

Thanks for the response. Yes, the dating agencies can be expensive. It generally costs over $100 a day. With food, airplane ticket, and an apartment, it's about $1000 a week.

Why do you need an agency to find a woman? They are everywhere. I see that they even provide interpreters. How could someone even consider a woman you can't communicate with. If you can't find your own woman, nobody will do it for you. They will take your money though. Are we (men) really that clueless that we don't know how to find women? I'm 53 years old and a few pounds overweight and in spite of it, every now and then a woman gives me the I'm interested look.
It's kind of interesting that most of the time, those asking about marriage agencies/websites and way overpriced romantic resorts are first time posters. It might looks like an innocent question, but to me, it's more like a subtle advertisement.

I am not advertising or advocating that guys use a marriage agency. Although I am new to this site, I have traveled quite a bit over the years. I am just trying to get a feel as to how costa rica might compare to my trips to ukraine and russia.

There's some serious $$$ involved with the Spanish Eyes which is fine if it works out but what if you get her back to the states on K1 Visa and after the 90 days she won't sign a prenup. Is all that money lost. Sorry but in general the Tica and many other women are too GD materialistic. I like Trump

Check out the Spanish Eyes web-site. The thing I liked is it doesn't sound like they have had that many placements so they do some due diligence also. There was a real good article in the Tico Times not too long ago about their service. Ok to pay all the fees *something like $5K" but there needs to be some type of refund if she won't sign a prenup.
