Actually, contining education is a very, very good idea. The law changes, and I am sure that you would want your lawyer to have the latest information on changing law.

I'm not an attorney, but as a State Certified Contractor, I must also complete 14 hours of continuing education every year, before I renew my contractor's license, to keep abreast of constantly changing building codes. I believe these types of continuing education courses are required in many different professional fields.

charging off a trip to costa rica as a business expense, and using a seminar in between sexual interludes, to accumulate professional credits toward continuing legal education, seems like the height of audacity. where do i sign up?
