I will be making my first trip to CR on business and staying at Ocotal Resort as a guest of the owner. I have no intention of asking him about the local opportunities (or lack of) but wondered if anybody knows of any.

I will fly into San Jose on company expense and would have to pay for additional time there myself but if that's the only way to savor the trip I will.

Thanks for any help

Playa De Coco is a short taxi ride from Playa de Octal. There is a Casino at the Playa De Coco Hotel. Working girls hang out there but they are pretty hard on the eyes. There is also a small open air bar down the street from the casino that has working girls hanging out after 11 pm on weekends. I always bring a chica from San Jose when I head to the beach, do to the chica shortage at the playas. Hope this helps!

Location: Where Am I ???
Ocotal Resort is near the end of a main (very winding) road along the coast. There is a lot of new condo's being built along the main road. But basically, it's out in the booney's. You can walk from the resort to the end of the road, to the beach. There's one bar/restaurant on Ocotal Beach, called Father Rooster. Nice little joint, right on the beach. Full bar, and good food. Other than that, there's nothing !

Playa del Coco is 10 minutes to the North, with a few P4P opportunities. Matter of fact, you have to drive into the heart of Playa del Coco, before you turn North on a side road, heading to Playa Ocotal. So all you have to do, is back-track to Coco in the evenings.

Good luck, as "action" is very limited. Then again, you never know when (or where) you'll find that diamond in the ruff!
