I for one have met Darklighter, and he is a stand-up guy. As far as Florida and his emotiocons, I personally find them/ him hilarious. But then again, I'm a little off center. Where is Phsycman to straighten all this out. Also, no disrespect to ID. I've learned a lot from his post, about CR and life in general. Not to get into it, but he has helped me without ever meeting me..........

Icantstayaway replies . I actually did pay. The first year I paid for a VIP membership. I have had a live in novia lately so I dont have an occasion to need the discounts the VIP card offers. When I do, I may pay again. The only benefit now for me would be to see the VIP picture gallery and the VIP section . Im not really missing this. I would like this entire site to be a pay site only. I would be happy to pay with everyone else. It has been discussed before and Admin 1 has made the decision to allow most of it free . This is a business decision he has made that to allow access for free keeps people here and will obtain VIP memberships as they choose. . As far as saying shame on the registered users, It is very bad grace to offer something for free then later remind people that they took what was offered. My personal belief is that it is a good time with so many registered users to restrict the site for at least a while, maybe 60 days, to bump many of the users to VIP members. What percentage of the 10000+ registered users would switch to members ? I would switch in a heartbeat. I really don't like that all this shows up on a Google search as well. A member access only site would stop that but at the same time , how many of those Free google people switch to registered users or VIPs? I found out about this site sitting next to a guy at the BM bar not from a Google search.

I see your point. About 6 months ago Admin was going to delete all users who have not posted for 2 years that were not VIPS Or at least that was my understanding. I think everyone was so excited about reaching 10,000 members that the idea just faded away. I'm all in favor of a site for just VIPS only. About the google thing, it is true that all these post end up on google at one time or another. Maybe we need an encripted security measure like the banks have. I don't have the answer for that one.

I disagree. I rarely use the discount benefit of the CRT VIP membership. Occasionally, very occasionally, I get a 10% discount at Costa del Sol and even less occasionally at the SL. Not even close to $39.00 a year. I rarely look at the picture gallery but I do read the VIP section. On a strictly economic cost/benefit ratio a VIP membership is a real looser for me.

So why am I a VIP? The reason for me is to support the site that gives a lot more to its members then it gets in return. Could I skate along for free? Sure. Would it be fair? Not for me but that is a personal decision each of us must make. I certainly do not judge anyone who takes the opposite view. I made a decision and respect your.
