I have only recently been exposed to the benefits of the nudsit lifestyle and I'm wondering if anyone knows of such facilities in CR. I did some searching and found that it seems Ticos are generally not in favor of public nudity, and there are no official nude beaches.

I also did searchs for nudist resorts and found only one. It is in San Jose (or west of) and is a B&B designed for gay men Not my cup of tea.

Does anyone know of any clothing optional resorts in CR?

I also have not found any nudist resorts in CR. It seems that prostition is OK, but public nudity on a beach is not. However, if your in Florida just check the FANR.COM website and you'll see many places. AANR.COM will also tell you of these places all over the US.

La Playita in Manual Antonio (southernmost beach in the park) is pretty well accepted as a nude beach in Costa Rica. Just about wherever you go nude gay guys are going to be there, they seem to have a more body acceptance culture; never have bothered me. By nature if you want to hang out nude in this world you don’t wanna be too shy or self-conscious;

Costa Rica has miles upon miles of beaches. If you can’t find a place to kick off your shorts you are not walking far enough IMHO. As long as you are not ‘offending’ anyone it doesn’t matter what you wear or not wear in the remote beaches. Watch out though the sun is powerful.

Manuel Antonio has one to the south.
There are not many in CR due to the fact most Ticos have small hands and small feet(and another small member) and are embarrassed about their lower members size so hence no nudist beaches.
