This law does seem to have "Gringo" written all over it.
You guys ain't seen insanity like California law. Here in the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia we have laws like automatic confiscation of all firearms if someone files a restraining order against you. Or how about this one: your exwife can refile for Ch*ld support based upon 25% of your NEW wife's income. Fun, eh? That really puts a damper on marriage #2. Then we have spousal abuse laws to "protect" mail order brides. All they have to do is file a spousal abuse report and they get an automatic green card. Guess what? These foreign women know this and they get into the country for a week before they file "spousal abuse" and they get an automatic green card. Dozens of guys, if not hundreds, have done jail time, lost jobs, had guns confiscated, all because some bitch in the Philippines wanted a green card and joined a "dating" service.
The insanity continues. Just wait 'till President Barak Obama signs the "Monger Abuse Relief Act" and all you CRT boys have to pay $10,000 to some orphanage in Limon...

hmmm. Well I personally know of one 'mail order bride' who was held at gunpoint by her 'husband' because she had the nerve to save him from insulin shock. I know that's just one case, but she had friends who were also abused by their 'husbands' who felt they were property, not people. Sometimes laws are badly written and sometimes badly enforced, but I find it hard to see men as victims. If you marry a Filipina and it all falls apart, maybe you needed to take a few minutes to know what you were getting into in the first place? I am taking an uncharacteristly Libertarian viewpoint here... personal responsibility. If you don't want a messy divorce, don't get married. If you don't want rotten Ch*ldren, don't have any. Worked for me.
