"Mel Gibson is musing over the idea of turning his favorite holiday destination into a permanent home after confessing he could quit Hollywood for Costa Rica. The actor/director, who made Apocalypto in Latin America and is reportedly making back-to-back films in Panama, admits he is interested in becoming a homeowner in Costa Rica.
He says, "I thought about it. Maybe I'll just come down here sometimes and spend my holidays." "

The last time I saw the "real" Costa Rica I had three police officers knocking on my door at Hotel Nuevo Johnson after a CHICA reported that I had an und***ge CHICA in my room. After the officers checked the cedula of the naked young hot CHICA in my bed the other CHICA changed her story and told the officers I beat her earlier in the night. I had to pay to officers to take the BITCH away.

Another sweet Colombiana CHICA ripped me off about $200 after she phucked me close to death only hours earlier. I thought she loved me.

And this one night when I was walking back to the Presidente Hotel from HDR I was chased down the street by a would be mugger and was lucky to make it to safety before he stabbed and/or shot me to death.

Another time this CHICA took a swing at me in Key Largo because she didn't like that I shared photos of her with a few Ticos and CRT members.

I will never forget about the CHICA would called the police and informed them that I would be carrying illegal drugs on my flight out of Costa Rica. Several officers and immigration officials escorted me to a private room just to make sure the CHICA was not telling the truth. They were very cautious with the examination and inspection but they did recieved a call and felt the need to act on it.

Thanks to a VIP CRT member for telling his NOVIA PUTA that I posted her pics in the VIP Gallery my last trip was ruined because they CHICA had a few Ticos looking to invite me to dinner, or so they said.

Most recently I read about a Canandian man who was found dead in the water.

And the most disturbing news I heard about the real Costa Rica is.... there is a plethora of CHICAS willing to Phuck old drunken fat gringos for money.

I don't believe it!! It's just a fantasy because the real Costa Rica is all about vacationing in a POSH resort. I may be wrong though, not the first time, nor the last.

PUTA VIDA! You got to love it!

===========================
IANS - Monday 12th March, 2007

Oscar winning director Mel Gibson is considering moving to Costa Rica where he shot his much talked about film 'Apocalypto'.

Gibson is making two back-to-back films in Panama and says he is interested in owning a home in Costa Rica. It is Gibson's favourite holiday destination and he has considered moving there for good.

He says: 'I thought about it. Maybe I'll just come down here sometimes and spend my holidays.' Gibson is scouting for locations in Costa Rica for his new movie, which is a biopic of Spanish explorer Vasco Nunez De Balboa.

============================

I've read many different articles about Mel Gibson in Costa Rica. He was in Nosara in December. He vacationed in Guanacaste in January. He was photographed having dinner at a restaurant outside of San Jose in February. Plus, he shot "Apocalypto" in CR, which took almost 2 years, between research and shooting.

And he's been scouting around different areas of CR, looking for another area for his NEXT movie, to be shot in CR. I think he's spent quite a bit of time in CR, and knows much about the people and the culture. I wouldn't mind sitting with him and having a few cocktails. I'll bet he could tell some stories!!! Just my dos colones...

A house?? Dudes got enough cash to buy a city. At least if he decides to go on a drunken tirade he'll blend right in.

I can see the appeal to Mel. There are Catholic churches on every corner and I have yet to meet a Jewish Tico. Oh, and you can get out of drunk driving with a small bribe. Should suit him to a T.

The truth is Mel Gibson is probably isolated from the real world as we know it.

He's not just any o' actor. He's MEL GIBSON! And a GREAT director as well as being in the business for a looooooooong time. Something that only a few, stars if you will, ever achieve.

And less we forget... he is NUTS!! In a good way of course.

Mel Gibson has got a bum rap the last year. He is at the pinnacle of everything he does: acting, directing and producing. He produced one of the most profitable movies in history, and he had to do it all by himself since hollywood did not want to back a christian movie... heaven forbid a movie "named passion of the christ" nope gotta ban that one.....not going to fund that one.

He had the balls to fund and produce and take the risk on that movie all by himself, and guess what? now he is one of the richest actors out there. Everything he has done is exceptional.

Sure he had a little episode, just the same as Marlon Brando had a similar episode on larry king live, but who cares he is so talented that you have to overlook his rare moments when he gets a little nutty: but all humans have been there and had weak moments they just aren't under a microscope like him. Bottom line Mel Gibson is a legend no matter how much the press tries to change his image.

I would be very happy to find him sleeping under a cardboard box on Calle 9.

Ruffnutz' thoughts on Mel:

I think he rocks! I saw Apocalypto this past weekend however, and... mmm... well... it wasn't that great... I hope his future projects turn out better, as I really enjoyed pretty much all of his other movies!

And yes, I think he would fit right in with the rest of us drunk degenerates!
