About 6 months ago a Nica friend at the Key Largo Told me the following. She was in the bathroom at the Blue Marlin bar. Three Colombians came to her and told her NOT to come back there. If she did they would stab her. They told her she could go to the Key Largo instead.

I asked her what she did she said nothing. That this also happened to another friend of hers also a Nica. If you notice the Blue Marlin bar has turned into a Domiican/Colombians. Full of them with a few Pananmians.

I am wondering if anyone else has noticed the trend. And the local Ticas are few and far between. Personally a few of us are sick and tired of the Colombians and their famous quickie and now asking $200. Yes thsts what they were saying two nights ago. .. Well any thoughts or am I just crazy...

I'm not a big fan of most of the Colombianas BUT I kind of doubt her story. When any chica comes into the DR she is forced to open her pocketbook and show all contents so a knife would be difficult to conceal. I guess she could hide it in her crotch but why bother. Hey,maybe there is a Godfather thing going on there with knives and guns being hidden over the toilets. Seriously,I've been either vacationing or living here for 6 years and I haven't noticed a difference in the mix of Countries that the chicas are from.There are still more Ticas than anything else. As far as the 12 minute Colombianas go,yes they ask for $200 without blinking an eye. They do talk to eachother and plot how to get the most for the least effort from the stupid Gringos.

VB, a certain Dominicana that you and I know has a knife in her purse each and every time she is in the HDR. The security people either turn a blind eye to some or all of the chicas (knowing they might have something). Or they are just too lazy to really check. I would buy you an unspecified amount of Bavarias if you should ever get the urge to let security know about her concealed weapon.

Back to the original post. I have heard rumors of the Colombianas and Dominicanas running in packs and intimidating the other girls. I believe it to be true. I doubt if anything would happen in the confines of the HDR, no successful hooker wants to be banned from the HDR. That would be the equivalent of being fired from your job with no unemployment benefit. All I can say to your Nica friend is "man-up" or "woman-up" and just deal with it. I'm certain you must have thick skin to work in that competitive environment. This is the only employment they have and likely the only skill they can ply. Even the girls in the "gangs" aren't really friends with each other when it comes down to it all. They will stab each other in the back. I've seen it happen alot. So, for all you Romeos who think, "she must love me, you should see how jealous she gets when I'm around other women." get over it. The other woman is a threat to her financial stability.

I believe this as well. Someone I knew had this happen to her as well. She was cornered by 6 Colombians in the bathroom and was asked why she was there. Why she was working there to take money away from them !! She had to convince them she was not working at the HDR but just there with a friend (me) which was absolutely true. She was threatened with getting her ass kicked. I know this does happen at the HDR.

I have heard the same story. From a Tica. I belive the colombians are out to corner the market. Just sorry to hear that gringos are paying $100 or more for a quick time.
