This is why I always have total control of my drinks. I have never been afraid to dump one because I had a concern. I think most experience people do the same thing.

pretty flimsy on details, but drink control is a great practice and starts at the bar where you order it. Watch it being made or opened and then control it yourself from there on. In parts of Colombia the practice is so ingrained that the serving staff will often do these things without you even having to request it. Scopolamine is such a big problem there, and to a lesser extent in Peru, that you should assume that any drink that leaves your sight for even a moment is now a bad drink and you should forget about it and order another one. Some people also cover their glasses with a coaster when they'not actually drinking, to avoid air dispersal of drug through handl flicking gestures over or near their drinks. It's a bad, bad world out there.

To my memory there have been several women that used this practice over the last decade. The Vipor and the Black Widow come to mind. An ex-pat friend of mine got drugged by the Black Widow around 2003 or 04 at a bar in the gulch. I'm almost sure that I was approached by her in the old New York bar a year later but I did not buy her a drink or converse....she wasn't that hot.

Just remember, not only in a bar is that lurking around but also in the room after you have taken a chica there. Not all, but many will steal, raid the mini bar and some will drug you in the room. BEWARE.

Also, for you newbies....never let a chica call a cab on her cell phone to pick the two of you up. A good way to get yourself rolled or worse.
